Kim Dae-jung Library not only collects significant material regarding President Kim Dae-jung but also engages in independent researches based on them. Based on historical materials, a wide range of topics are covered, ranging from politics, society, economics, diplomacy, and inter-Korean relations. Further, as we work in collaboration with international researchers, our work is published in Korean, English, and Japanese.

Public Outreach

We take leadership in academic international exchange. 자세히보기

Two annual international conferences are hosted by the Kim Dae-jung Presidential Library. One conference is held in June to commemorate the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration, and the other in December to celebrate Kim Dae-jung's Nobel Peace Prize. Various scholars and public figures of numerous fields have joined us for these events to exchange opinions and cooperate academically.
